Capture One 22 blank thumbnails
I was using Capture One 21 on my Windows laptop without any problem. Yesterday I decided to take advantage of the current promotion and pre-purchased Capture One 23. I installed the currently available version 22 and removed version 21 from my computer. When I opened the program, everything seemed to be fine, but first, the thumbnails and then the image viewer became blank. I rebooted the computer and restarted Capture One, but the same thing happened: first everything looks fine, but as soon as I touch a button, the image viewer and the thumbnails are blank. I wonder whether you can help me.

Have you tried regenerating previews, from the Image menu?

Hi Ian,
Yes, I have tried, but it does not work.
Today I again opened C1 22 several times. It seems to open properly, I can see the thumbnails of the photos in the folder that was open the last time and I can see the 'active' image. However, as soon as I move to another folder, the thumbnails and the main image become blank.

The next thing I would try, then, is turning off hardware acceleration in the General section of Preferences.

Thank you, Ian! It worked! And now I remember, when I installed version 21, I had the same issue and I had to do the same. You saved my day!

You could look at updating your graphics drivers and then see whether you can safely turn hardware acceleration back on. (Don't ask me more than that - I use a Mac, not Windows, so I had Eno personal experience of it, but I understand that this can help with Windows installations.)
