CTRL + Z does not restore accidentally deleted files

I accidentally deleted a large group of files, about 28 images from a gallery.

I pressed ctrl+z to restore them, and nothing. Stupid, but OK fine I'll just grab them from "recent imports"

Nope! Won't drag them in. Thankfully my memory card from the game is still here so I can re-import the files. Is this some "improvement" to the software?

This is outright infuriating. Why did you disable this?

  After deletion ctrl+Z should put them back in All Images.
