Uninstalling CO22 while keeping CO23
Hi
I'm an annual subscriber and have just installed version 23 (on Mac OS 11.6.5). When installing a new version of a Mac app, the system usually asks if you want to overwrite the old version. However, when installing CO23 this didn't happen. I therefore have both 22 and 23 installed. I searched the FAQ and the instructions for uninstalling CO seem to assume that you only have one version on your computer. I don't want to delete things that version 23 needs.
So, can I just drag the version 22 icon to the trash? ...or do I need to do additional stuff to get rid of all things related to version 22?
Cheers
Grant.

Dear Grant, i have exactly the same question with one additional aspect: before dragging version 22 to the trash, should I click the 'deactivate' button that appears now when opening version 22?

Hi Julia. I nervously hovered over the deactivate button for a while, but decided not to push it because I think the activation works per computer. I was afraid that if I deactivate via 22, it will deactivate the whole computer and therefore deactivate version 23 as well. That's my understanding anyway. So I'm going to leave it until I hear otherwise.

It does you no harm to try that. If you end up deactivating 23, just activate it again. Its the number of current activations that is limited, not the number of times you do it.
