Tell us more about your set-up. Are you working in a catalog or a session? Where are you looking for the remaining 130 images? In a folder, in an album, in recent imports?

How did you select the first 120?
Did you have any tag/rating/search filters active and that might be still on?

I was working in a session, I think--I sometimes switch between starting a session and a catalog, I processed all the photos and then selected by select one then shift select last one I wanted so 120 images, select export jpeg to default Output folder. When Export was finished the filmstrip ./ thumbnails at the bottom only showed the 120 exported. I was unable to find the other 130 or so. When I go to recent it only shows the previous catalog, nothing that I was working on. Initially the files were all loaded from a DXO folder where they were deposited after processing thru DXO PureRaw 2. I checked there but only the originals are there nothing processed. I also tried undo several times with no results. I really don't want to reprocess but may have to. I did not have and tag / rating or search filters turned on. In Metadata for export I had Copyright, Camera Metadata and all other Metadata selected.

I'm sorry, Randy, but I'm still not very clear what you are saying is happening.

For a start, it would be really helpful to be 100% sure whether you were working in a session or a catalog.

I'm not sure what you mean by a DXO folder.

If you were in fact working in a catalog, not a session, then you would not see anything apart from the unprocessed raw images in the folder. That is because Capture One doesn't ever alter the original files. It stores edit information inside its database.

And if you were actually working in a session, the original files would still be unchanged, but edit information would be stored in a different way, in sidecar files in subfolders of the image folder. If that was the case, the folder would have a subfolder within it called Capture One, with further subfolders within that.

Thanks for the reply I've been dealing with life issues. It was a session. I found the COT COP files. Is there away to associate or apply these to the originals again? If not I will just redo. I love C1. But I need a lot of practice and I have been watching a lot of tutorials but slow going. I once was taking a course on embroidery machines, the instructor said Randy this is not rocket science, I replied, you are right, I;ve done rocket science it's easier! I thank everyone for their help. I just didn't understand why when selecting some for export to a specific folder, those not selected would just disappear. I expected to be able to return and select the remainder  for another export to a separate folder.

Well it could be a C1 problem but I guess we will not know,
at least until you know the program enough to recognize any mistake you may of made.

I would suggest standardizing your workflow to either
using  catalogs or sessions and not a random mix of both.
A lot of users use just one catalog for all their images
where as with sessions each session is usually meant
to contain the images of a single job/theme.
Maybe set up a practice catalog or a few sessions with
not too many images in them where you can play around
and not risk losing a days work.

I am trying to export 19 tifs and they vanish as soon as they're exported.  I watch the export folder.  C1 2022 on Mac.

A couple of tifs remain.  Maybe the Finder is hiding them? I see numbered files up to 41.

Hi Joaquin Trigueros - you say you are on a Mac, but you have put this into an old thread about the version for Windows.

If the answer is not what I suggest below, please start a new thread in the Mac section of the forum.

Are you using Sonoma and a folder which is synced with iCloud? There has been a recent problem with that which may not yet have been solved. See the information here.

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13942471961757-Mac-Files-exported-from-Capture-One-to-iCloud-become-hidden-in-macOS-Sonoma#:~:text=This%20issue%20is%20currently%20under,files%20to%20iCloud%20with%20Finder.

The temporary fix is to make sure that you export to a folder which is NOT synced to iCloud. You can move the exported images to the folder you want after they have been exported.
