Select a vertical row

I'm amazed that I can't quickly select all the images in a vertical row in my Capture One Pro browser window. There's no way to do it unless you select them individually while holding down the command button. I shoot things in bursts of 7 and for example, I want to shoot the third section of bursts. So ideally, I would just select an entire vertical row. Other programs like Adobe Bridge and Adobe Lightroom can easily do this. Why can't C1P?!
