Capture one 22 and RAW fujifilm files

I just bought an X-T5. Capture one pro supports it according to website. When I shoot raw the resulting .RAF files cannot be seen by Cap One. I cannot import them using C1. the files are recorded on the card, I can load them onto my mac by other means. Photo Mechanic can see them and all the EXIF. I have tried uncompressed files, lossless compressed files same result. I have formatted cards. I have the firmware up to date. I am at a loss.

Jpg files cause no problems at all.

Any ideas or suggestions? Grateful for anything - I am probably missing something really simple.

  First, I'd check whether you are on the latest version of Capture One 22 - the list of supported cameras here

  says that the X-T5 is supported from release 15.4.2.

  Hi Ian,

  Thank you very much. Problem solved. I was fooled by the fact that when I go to 'check for updates' in the menu it only offers me C1 16. Nothing about the intermediates. I had 15.4.0.22 - so pretty close but there was nothing obvious to tell me that I needed to check for past updates. I am very grateful. I knew it was somewhere in that area, I did camera firmware, checked and reformatted cards, but could not get to this.

  I think it would be helpful if the check for updates showed all updates however small.
