Issue with Sessions being put into other sessions

I have been having this trouble for a while. I love Sessions because all of my images are organized which I can then store on another drive when my drive fills up. I do the same thing every day. Open Capture One, create a new session with todays date. Shoot for the day, Pick the photos, output the photos. Go into the picture folder look for todays date. It is not there. I look in previous days and for some reason Capture one decided to Store the whole session into another previous session. It used to be if I want open an older session the new session would close and the new one would open. Now they all stay open and I'm wondering this is the reason. I closed all the previous sessions before I created a new one and sometimes it is there at the end sometimes it is missing. A look through older ones eventually I will find it. This NEVER happened in previous and I have been using this software from Day one.
