Nikon D780 tethered support
Before attempting the trial software process I would like to know if the latest version of of Capture One fully supports the Nikon D780, specifically , the live view function showing on the computer screen and allowing control of the focus box around the the live view screen ( for stacking images). There are several softwares allowing full camera for the Nikon D7200 but not the Nikon D780. Total control of the camera functions from the computer screen to include movement control and focusing the focus box is paramount. As Capture One appears much more robust than others, I would like to move, but frustration generated by the D780 live view function not allowing full control makes me ask first before attempting the trial..

And this page doesn't help?

It would have taken you less time to download and install the trial than it did to type your question.

Keith,
Thanks very much for replying, I appreciate your time. To answer your question, "and this page doesn't help?" NO, that page was no help at all.
As for my original question, you did not answer it at all. However, your response encouraged me to download the trial and actually try Capture One 23 out with both the Nikon D7200 and the Nikon D780. As I suspected, when either camera is connected to the computer and recognized by Capture One both produce a live view on the computer screen, but I do not get to move the focus point to different locations on the live view screen to confirm pin sharp focus prior to taking the shot. Other software allow me to do that with the D7200 but not the D780. I did contact Nikon, they were of little help.
The conclusion at the moment is: there is a setting in both Nikon camera bodies that needs to be changed or Capture One is not structured to allow checking different focus points from the computer screen while in live view for Nikon.
Going directly to Capture One for this question might be the smarter move.
Again, I appreciate your attempt to help.
Bob
