Other users you are talking to are not able to answer your question. Please contact the support department of Capture One, not Phase One (unless you are a Phase One user or POCP).

Wifi tethering is not supported with the Sony A7R4. Only with a cable.

When you use View > Proof profile, it affects all images. I am not aware of a different solution.

The computer seems to take time for generating the preview. Try Camera menu > Auto Select New Capture > When ready. Make sure no other processes are running on your computer that are not necessary.
