You might want to try the variations of display scaling handling in the compatibility options. You can find these in the shortcut options, maybe this can help, maybe not but worth the try...

From Full-HD to 5K, that's a lot more info to process (7 times, if I calculated right), I'm not surprised there's a bottleneck somewhere, but if it's fair to blame C1, I'm not sure...Full HD (1920 ...
