Yes, C1 is not handling any Tiff with Alpha channels, which is pity.Hope that will resolve it soon

Kinda strange that sorting order, so constantly switches for you. I never got the same issues, manual mode means that you may re order photos in way you want to.

Did you do backups of catalog with build in back up catalog option. I do that sometimes even manually and set back up location to be NAS.

Yes this is normal. That is why I am to keep my catalog as small as possible. I.e 1 catalog 1 job, to simplify my backup, and make it more fast to load.
