If you updated your catalog to CO11 format then you can't use it with CO10 anymore.

There are a lot of other RAW converters. If you're not satisfied with CO, you can try them out.

You can use sessions, multiple catalogs, a single catalog… whatever suits your needs.And of course you need to use CO to import photos into a CO catalog.I'd suggest you watch the following webina...

Not at my computer right now but I guess what I would do is "Export as catalog" and then import into the other catalog.

Did you install it properly, i.e. open the .dmg then drag the app to your /Applications folder?
