Are you positive you haven't defined defaults for your camera in any tool?

Why create thousands of albums when you can select the relevant pictures by using date filters (since the capture date is already included in each picture's metadata) ?

Inside the COP-catalogYes, and that's precisely where the bug is: they don't get deleted from the catalog, even if you remove the keywords from the files and reimport them.

In the import browser, what you see is the jpeg preview embedded in the RAW files.

You probably need to update to a newer version of Capture One.
