I use them both but as alternative, both show their strength when used on raw files, I do not see how I could benefit by combining them in the same workflow. But may be I am missing your point.

There is a Lr plugin called "Opendirectly" which you can use to export a raw file from Lr into CO, you can then export a TIFF from CO into a LR Watched Folder and you are done.
