got it working, thanks for all your suggestions. It was just conflicting with the canon software.

Just tried 4.7 with 5dMkII tethered. It's saying No camera connected. Will keep trying

Yes Just plugged in a P30+ and a Nikon D3 and they both popped straight up as connected. No response from Canon, works with Canon software
