DDThe software that came with your M8 was a LE version.Use CO4 there is no reason why you shouldn't.In either case the tethered support with the M8 is provided by the Leica software.

I will give you some more information when I have it but do not expect a x86 iMac to be faster then a Quad G5, far from. Intel will however be more kind to your electric bill 😂

HelloWe do recomend that you uninstall old version. Simply drag the Capture One folder in Applications to trash can to do this.
