Lightroom bases its output sharpening on the size of the image you have selected at output time. The more I use LR the more I think its the *Pro* app 😉

Catalogs are different. Sessions allow you to browse the file system. Catalogs only allow you to browse what has been "cataloged" i.e. imported. You can add folders though using the + icon at the t...

I have never saved a crop as preset before, I just assumed it was possible but your correct, you can't. You can save the crop as a Style though and then apply that during import.
