I'm having the same problem, only with exported 8bit tiffs, and cannot open them in my other Nikon programs, i.e. NX2 and View NX-I also in NX-D. ☹️ Hope there is an answer soon. BTW if I export...

Further to the above post, the tiffs will open in Photoshop. If re-saved in Photoshop they will then open in the Nikon programs.
