Might be that you have permissions on the external drive. Cmd + I the drive in finder and check that ignore permissions is set. Retiring the drive sounds like a good idea though.

Sounds like the app is running as the DB version. Go to License under the CaptureOne menu and make sure its set to PRO. Also make sure that the output folder exists in the output naming tab under t...

You could always export multiple 16bit tiffs and mask at the LOCAL adjustments in Shop. Pretty old school I know......
