Aperture does not allow the user to select custom camera profiles. You must be satisfied with Apple's generic ones. So if you are a fan of Magnes profiles, or camera profiling, forget it.

I do not use ARC, but I would check the prefs to see if there is an \"ignore sub folders\" option. I do know that nesting issues (folder within a folder) are a common problem with many apps.

CF cards are not designed to be the most stable way of storing images. Personally, I'd be happy that they don't stay there as the HD is where they should wind up anyway.
