Thank you for the suggestions. The Jerry's works fine, you even don't have to sort it by the color tag, you can use Select | Select By | Color Tag in the menu.

I upgraded the GPU from GT 1030 to RTX 4060 and the performance is much better know. I can no longer reproduce the issue.

Before I post details I'd like to ask whether it is a known issue? I can post sample RAW file and steps, it is easy to reproduce.
