Someone on the Capture One 10 forum said that they have successfully used Capture One 10 with the Mojave beta.

Your mileage may vary, as they say.

For me Live View is not working when I click live view CP 11 crashes 😐 and I get a dialog that says it has quit unexpectedly ( I am using a Nikon D750 but also tried a D5200 on a Macbook Pro 2017).
Besides that I have not found any other issues so far.

Can someone confirm that they are experiencing the same issue?

    Hi all,

just want to let you know that I just upgraded my MacBook to Mojave and haven't encountered issue's with CO 11.
Everything I've tested seems to work normal.
(I work with referenced catalogs, not sessions).

    Best regards,

    E.

My test machine is a 2012 MBA and the D850 with Live View worked fine. I would have tested the D750 except the only tethertools cable we have for that camera is to USB-C. I'll report of I have any problems with Live View on my 2017 MBP.

I don't shoot with C1 11 but use it in a digital technician role and everything has worked fine running in Mojave.

    Live View working fine.

    it's working

but I notice that it's only using the IntelHD GPU of my MBP and not the AMD anymore. It might have to do with the deprecated openCL usage instead of Metal2

I would cautiously wait until 3 weeks after gets updated, and still make sure you have a backup plan before I trust strangers on the board. But their input is still valuable and appreciated.

NN636099636048774536UL and jcmax, please contact Phase One Support and send them your log files. Also, details of your setup would be good to know: USB adapters, multiple screens, Dark Mode on or off?

I updated to Mojave on my main workstation last night (after having updated my two laptops several days before).

I hope that I'm not speaking too soon but testing this morning seems to show that Capture One is performing much more quickly on my iMac. (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Mid 2015, AMD Radeon R9 M290 2048 MB).

Before the update I had the feeling that my GPU wasn't being funny utilized. Now it seems as though it might be.

Live View crashed for me as well. I'm using a Fuji XT2 but even with all USB devices unplugged form my iMac Live View crashed.

It seems that the current version of C1 is not supporting Mojave.
Probably they have to release a new major update with Metal supporting for the new OS, and for external eGpu.
I wondering why nobody from PhaseOne saying anything about this delay.

Well obviously they won’t comment on future developments and they are pretty clear about the fact that C1 is not supported in Mojave.

Those, including me, who has opted out to install Mojave knowing the above, shouldn’t complain about the issues too much. I’m quite sure they’ll support Mojave when they support Mojave 😊

I can understand not commenting on new releases and it's refreshing that Phase One does not rush things out the door in semi-beta forms as much as "some" companies seem to nowadays. I've held off of upgrading to Mohave because every time I succumb to the upgrade. temptation too quickly I find at least one or two unpleasant side effects. And besides I rather have someone else find the gremlins, figure out the solution or wait for patches and then report about it. Makes life so much less stressful.

But, still the itch is there. Hmmm, dark theme. And Capture one may work? Ah to heck with it, l feel lucky - where's that "upgrade now" button.

Mojave may well not be officially supported, however I have to say that C1 performs better on my primary workstation (and perhaps slightly better on my older Macbook Pro) than it did on High Sierra.

I want to like the "dark" theme but I haven't warmed up to it yet. I generally don't care to see my images against an overly dark background. Perhaps I'll grow accustomed to it.

Glad you asked, and thanks for everyone's input. I'll be installing Mojave in the next few days and will post if there are problems with C1 integration.

There now is a CO11 release (CO 11.3.2) in the software archive that supports macOS Mojave up to 10.14.1.

Thanks for the hint Paul. Is there some documentation anywhere that says Mojave is supported now?
Searching the support pages I only found release notes for CO11.X that state support up to High Sierra.

    Regards,
    Frank

Select the Capture One release Notes in the documentation box. This should point you to 11.3 and its latest 11.3.2 section.

Check page 12 (it says on Page 4)

    HTH.

Hm... no luck. If I click on „Capture One Release Notes“ in the box „Documentation“ a PDF containing release notes for C1 Vers.12 is downloaded. Page 4 shows „12.0 Major release: Highlights“ and page 12 is about compatibility with Phase One cameras. That’s what I had found before.

    Regards,
    Frank

    p.s. I was blind somehow 😉
It’s not in „Documentation“ but also in „Software Archive“. A little bit further down the list it says „Release Notes Archive“ and a click on this brings up links to the release notes for previous versions.

    Ah, apologies.

I meant to point to the Archive link but, in a hurry, wrote the wrong name for the box.

    Glad you found it!
