frustrated
This is the polished version of the first beta.
So it's good to know that betas are more or less the final version for you.
Now I know that I don't have to wait for the pro version.
Okay, I like the HDR and the sharpening seems to be a bit better. Maybe NR, especially color noise reduction, too. But that's it.
Pro will be like that including lens tools, proof profiling and something.
But I have great tools for that in Photoshop.
I'm really very frustrated. And glad that I will stay with my current system for the next few years and that it is supported by V3.7.7.
Whenever someone asked me for the best raw software my answer was: C1. Not anymore.
A software that is unable to display my images in good quality in 50% viewing size or smaller is just unusable for me. It's that simple.
And the reason for that (preview rendering takes performance and storage space)... this is the standpoint of a software developer. But not of a photographer.
Preview-quality was the first thing I was checking today and the reason why I erased it directly.
Sorry for beeing negative and short.
But, too, I'm frustrated that you - from my point of view - did not incorporate detailed and informed feature requests of experienced C1-users.
Good luck.
