CO 4.0 is the first major update. All previous updates have not counted.
If you have a problem with you product key then please create a case at http://support.phaseone.com and we will solve this for you.

There is a major problem with this upgrade. I use the pro version and if I were to upgrade I would lose the ability to shoot tethered, use sessions styles and the thumbnail window, this upgrade appears to be a version of LE not pro, and yet Phase one are asking us to use the pro license to get this downgraded product. What on earth are Phase one doing and why is the not a warning about the limited use of this product before upgrading. Finally when will the full pro version of C4 be available to the people who actually use Phase one backs in a studio or do we have to stick with old software which is not entirely at one with Leopard

Good to hear that previous "upgrades" have not counted as major. My account online shows that I have 0 upgrades left even though I should have 2, and it sounds like others are having similar problems. I did submit a case with Phase One.

The exact same thing happened to me! I got a message that said I have exceeded my upgrade limit. I've already created a case but this is baloney!! I've given Phase One a lot of my hard earned money and this type of incident should not be occurring.

C1 Pro users should not be docked an upgrade for using this 'lite' program until the release of C1 Pro 4. I don't know what upgrade paths exist for LE users but Pro users have paid for and use a very different product. If this policy is enforced then I won't use C1 4 and when it comes time to upgrade my P45 I'll look at other avenues. What a bunch of Baloney!!

    Just to clarify,

Pro users can use their Pro key to activate CO 4.0 FREE OF CHARGE. This does does not count against your upgrades. If for some reason your account shows that it has used a Pro upgrade, please create a support case and we will sort it out.

You say clarify ,where exactly has this been stated previously , why do you not let users know that this is a LE upgrade not a Pro version ,when is the Pro version due for release and if this is not soon will C3 be upgraded to work on Leopard

    Alun,

With all due respect, we have said many many times throughout the forum that this is an LE version, and that it is free for Pro users, and an included upgrade for LE users.

C3 leopard support is on its way and Pro 4.0 is under development and will come next year.
