Cannot edit to photoshop

Hello im using CO express 20 and was working flawlessly.
had to upgrade to CO 23 express because I am now using XT5 from fuji 

My biggest problem is when i hit "edit with" -> photoshop -> edit variants. CO wont open PS at all 
It works when i use "open with", but using this does not apply the changes I do in CO

any help, been searching for an answer for weeks!

  I've been able to reproduce this behavior and it looks like a bug. The operation works fine in Pro, if you feel like taking a free trial for a spin.

  If not, I have reported the bug on your behalf and have provided a screen recording of the behavior. So hopefully a fix is found soon.

  I've found that Open With works with no issues.
