Applying gradients to a background or foreground layer
In trying to move to Capture One Pro as my workspace I ran into a roadblock with gradients. Capture one does a great job with gradients, but oddly missing is the ability to apply a gradient to a background layer only. Oddly, the background and foreground selectors do a fantastic job. But many times I want to apply a gradient to that element only. I still have to seek out another tool to do this. Please consider this enhancement. Thank you!

Blending multiple kinds of masks is not supported presently. I believe there is a proposed feature request to support it.
