Playing with trial - can't export back to LR and PS
I've just downloaded the 30 day trial on the Pro version and started playing around. On windows, so far so good, until I try to export back to LR and PS. Because of my workflow I will still want to do some adjustments in PS. But when I try to export (TIFF, 16 BIT, ProPhotoRBGB) to LR or PS the image is hideous, washed out and underexposed. Basically it takes a gorgeous image from Capture One and fries it beyond recognition. Any ideas where I might be going wrong? 😐
Thanks.
Thanks.

How are you exporting to PS? Select the image and choose Edit with... then choose Photoshop? If so, what are the settings in the dialog box that comes up?

Thanks Ian, I've tried to save it as a TIFF and even a PSD file. I open into LR or PS and when it is in the LR or PS import box it looks the same as when it left C1, but soon as I try to save it into LR or PS everything goes to $**#*.
I had tried to save an image here to show settings and am a bit surprised you can't on a forum devoted to photography but there you go. As below.
process recipe:
Format: PSD 16 bit
ICC profile: prophoto rgb
Res: 300

Ah! I was importing images that I'd previously edited in PS/LR, so when they went back from C1 they had all their edits plus the C1 edits...so no wonder they went to $*#*. Just pulled in a couple of pics I hadn't edited before and it works well. Thanks. 0
