STUCK PROCESSING
Hi, I just upgraded to C1 Pro for Windows. Tried processing my first pic and the process bar stops half way through and will not continue (so far stuck for at least 10 minutes). I stopped the program and re-opened it to try again, same deal.. no progress.
Also, I saved settings in our old version to always have sharpening amount at 220 vs the default 180 but cannot get it to stick as a standard for every image. Tried saving as presets, default for camera, etc. but when I choose another image it goes back to default amount and I can't remember how I did it the first time... help please.
Sorry for the two issues one post.

It's now been over an hour and still not processed. Tried the same image with old version (C1 7.43) and it took a total of 5 seconds... 0 -

Have you tried a different image?
Is this an old image that retains its version 7 settings or one that you have re-edited in V9?
Have you changed the image to use the V9 processing engine or left it with V7?
What do you see in the Process Queue history?
For the Custom Default Sharpness ...
I would guess that you had saved the Sharpness setting as a new default. Each camera can have a different default set.
In the Sharpness tool there are 3 dots top right hand corner. (Its the same for all tools).
Click there and you will see a list of further options (The list varies by tool.) One of those options allows you to save your settings as the new default.
Normally I would expect that to carry over from one release to the next UNLESS something in the processing engine has changed between versions in a way that means that old values are simply no longer viable for the new engine.
Another possibility is that you created a Custom Preset for Sharpness and your Import process was set to always apply it. However I'm not entirely sure that you can set an "Always On" Style or Preset for Import so I suspect that your camera specific sharpness setting is more likely in this case based on your description of your usage.
HTH.
