Exporting a new sort order

In lightroom you're able to move your images in the filmstrip in the order you want them to be exported. This allows me to create a numbered sort order for a better viewing flow with my real estate image listings. I tried to do this same thing in Capture One. I can change the sort order in the filmstrip view and assign a numerical order but it attaches the new numbers in the original file name order. Am I missing something?
