Canon Irista Workflow
Hi, I just wanted to check my workflow - if someone can offer any guidance it would be hugely appreciated.
I am moving all my raw data files into the Canon Irista Cloud.
At the moment they are on my Mac Hard-drive, segregated into folders by year, but synced to this Canon cloud.
On the same Mac I create Catalogues within capture One - again, one per year.
The Capture One catalogues are significantly bigger than the folders of photos that are imported into them.
Two major questions then:
1. Do these catalogs contain all the raw image files also and all edits are saved to these rather than to the original raw files which are elsewhere on my hard drive?
2. If I want the edited original raw file to be uploaded to Canon then I "think" I need to export it from Capture one back to the original location on my Mac hard-drive. Is that correct?
any clarity hugely appreciated - I am fighting the easy solution of simply moving to photoshop and their cloud system (which would allow me to visualise and edit across multiple devices)
Many thanks
