Clone and Heal Tools and Compositing
Hello all, first post for me as I am finally making the move away from Aperture.
Anyways, I don't see a way to make the clone and heal tools composite, i.e. if a clone an area that I have made changes in with another layer it doesn't clone with the changes, only with the original background image.
Please tell me I am missing something simple here!!!

I don't think you're missing anything, I've experienced the same behavior.
As far as I can tell when using the clone tool it will clone the adjustments you've made on the background layer but not adjustments you've made on other layers.
Perhaps if you do your cloning/healing first and then make further adjustment layers afterwards you will get the results you are looking for?0 -
Thanks for the response cdc, although it is not what I wanted to hear!
Unfortunately it is the intermingling of clones and heals that I am after. In my work is more efficient to fix flaws in post and then fix the objects after the shoot.0
