C1.5.2 Pro on CD ?

Went last week for a support case on the site, no answer. Don't blame me if I didn't find the answer on the forum 😄

Christmas is soon coming, and I whish to offer C1 5.2 Pro to my nephew.

Simple questions :
- Is it available on CD ?
- How to order ? Link to the case ?
- Is it sent to France ?
- Am I allowed to download it and burn it on a cd ?
- Does my nephew have to register the purchase when installing the software ?

Phase One distributors or retailers in Paris don't sell C1 5.2 Pro on CD, only C1 5.1 and recommend to buy the upgrade online 😂 🙄

  CO 5.2 or 5.1 is the same regarding the license and update capabilities (update is 5.1, 5.2, 5.x). A CD is always behind, and a 5.1 CD is very current. My advise: buy the CD (nice gift), let it install, activate and update to the latest CO 5.x free of charge.

  Just to reiterate what Paul already stated, the update from 5.1 to 5.2 is an UPDATE and NOT an Upgrade. As always, updates are free of charge. Just download the latest release of that software and install. No need to purchase and an Upgrade online.
  An UPGRADE would be something like going from Capture One 4.x to 5.x. Which would require you pony up for the newer version.
