513 Pixel Limit Still In Place Despite Release Notes

Sometime around the introduction of Capture One Pro 9 they supposedly reduced the file size minimum from 513 (or was it 517?) pixels to 16 pixels. That never really happened, despite the release notes saying so. In Capture One 10 the release notes still say that images only need to be larger than 16 pixels, but that's STILL not the case. I just made a blank new catalog, imported an image that's 500x375 pixels, and it's read-only. Come on, what's the deal? Either fix this or change the release notes to be correct. I've been waiting for years now to be able to access all the small photos in my imported Aperture libraries that Capture One rendered uneditable.

  I'll play the devil's advocate here, but what the release notes say is actually right: CO supports those files in the sense that it can import them, even though they're read-only. 😊
  
  A possible workaround would be to rescale them before importing. Hardly satisfying, though.
