Soft file when processed over 100% !! HELP

We have done some testing as far as processing files at over 100% and have found in capture 4,5 they are not as sharp as they are in capture 3.7. when processed in capture 4 at 170% the file seem to be "out of focus" when taken back to capture 3.7 and processed at 170% the files are tack sharp! We did this testing because we gave out some files to a client that requested them large, they came back and said that they were not sharp! Our research found the original capture to be sharp, but after processing in capture 1 ver. 4.8.3. @ 170% the output file was not sharp at all. We then took it into capture 3.7, processed at 170% and it was fine. With the release of capture 5 we have found the same thing to be true. I hope the new software would be a fix.

Has anyone found this to be true as well ? We have tried it multiple times and had same results. I challenge someone else to give this a try !

What is the fix or reason for this ?

Based on my testing using similar settings, CO3.7 looks a bit, but also more pixelated. CO5 retains much more detail and because its less pixelated appears a touch softer. My recommendation is to use more sharpening on the image if you are processing to so much larger than native size.
