    Tony,

For the Process error, you may have a corrupt image in the Batch Queue.
You can launch Capturre One while holding the Shift Key, and then go to the Batch Queue and remove any Yellow Dot images.
    If none, then try:

    Quit C1.
Open the Home Account folder located in the Users folder and navigate to Library/Application Support/Phase One.
In version 3.6+ the folder is called Batch Queue.
Open up the folder and move all the files you find inside to Trash folder.
    Restart Capture One.

For the tethering error, not sure what this error message relates to. Possibly a repair of permissions may resolve.
Best troubleshooting step is to attempt to tether with Canon program. If Canon and Mac cannot communicate, then Capture One certainly cannot.

    Hi Keith

    Thanks for the reply.
Just ditched the contents of the batch folder so I'll see if it happens next time I do a batch process. This problem only happens ocasionally.

With regards to the tethering problem I have rebooted the Mac, unplugged-replugged the firewire lead, turned the camera of-on again, and still it won't shoot tethered. C1 recognizes the camera and I even get a progress bar showing the download taking place, but painfully slow. The image evenually displayed shows a portion of the image corrupted.

I have taken a screen shot of the result and can email it to you if you like. (Not sure if you can post images here)

I have looked into the activity monitor (applications-utilities-activity monitor) and noticed that as well as it showing Capture One Pro it also shows something called 'CaptureAgent' which comes on when C1 Pro is launched. However, CaptureAgent is in red instead of black and says it is inactive. It also shows CaptureAgent to be PowerPC and C1 Pro to be Intel, any relevance?

I'm also wondering if it could be a problem with the Mac itself, specifically memory. It's only 4 weeks old so I might take it to my Apple dealer to check for problems.

    regards

    Tony.

Hope this can be resolved soon, as the main reason for wanting to buy this program is to shoot tethered!
