3.7.3 continously crashes on quad G5

Whenever I attempt to load images C1 crashes. When I select a folder and let the images pop up its ok, but as soon as I scroll down and let more than about 4 images load C1 just gives up and crashes. It takes me about 15 crashes to fully load a wedding by slowly scrolling down the list to load the raws. I never had this problem on my G4 or on any other version other than 3.7.3

  Also,
  I cannot try to go back to a different version cause I am shooting with a 5D and this is the only version that supports it.
