Your camera is of a later date than your version of Capture One. It is common that raw converters support existing but not future models. 😉
CO4 has come a long way since its earliest release. Download and install the latest and greatest and you're on the ball again.

    Paul,

Thanks so much for your input. Very much appreciated. It never even occurred to me to download the latest version of Capture One. I went to VersionTracker and downloaded version 4.8.1, installed it and, as you said......I'm back on the ball.

Do you know the difference between C1 Pro and C1 DB? I would also like to eventually be able to shoot tethered to my laptop or a desktop computer with my Nikon gear. I hear that this is a possibility with C1 Pro. Any thoughts?

    Thanks again.

    Best,

    Dennis

Dennis, you are correct. With CO 4.x (standard, no suffix) you can adjust your Nikon files. With 4.x Pro you can also shoot tethered. 4.x DB is a free license but does support Phase One data backs only, not DSLRs. Have a nice ball game.
