New User-- Simple Question and Problem
In the search of a \"perfect\" Raw program I decided to purchase a copy of Phase One LE, I got a sealed product box off of Ebay. Anyways, so far the program works well for all of my old Canon digital Rebel files (300d) it does not work for my (new to me) Canon 1d the original.
I realize that I'm probably doing something wrong as I just got this software, but I would appreciate any help.
So far when I open the containing folder in the browser thing on the left side it shows No Raw files. Although Adobe CS1 sees them and so does DPP.
Could it be that the Canon 1d files are labeled as \"tiff\" ? I realize Canon later changed this, but both the 1d and the 1ds (to my understanding) label their Raw files as Tiffs.
Any help here.
The version I'm using is 3.5.2
And on the back of the box it does claim to support the Canon 1d
Any help would be appreciated. I would love to join the ranks of high end photographers on this site.

sleepwalker33,
You should do a complete uninstall following Knowledge Base article #1665
http://support.phaseone.com/KB/Home/Sea ... nguageID=1
Then Download the most current version of LE 3.7.3 from web site:
http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads/COforWIN.aspx
The update from 3.5 to 3.7.3 is Free. Install and you should have no problems.
If you do, Create a Support Case at:

Keith,
Thankyou for your quick response. I really do appreciate knowing that you guys responded so quickly. If LE goes well I will look into the PRO or the Portrait version and maybe someday even a digital back. Good customer support is everything and you are off to a great start with me. Thanks!0
