How Can I get Back To My Original Raw Image?

I had my preferences set to "Save Changes On Exit" (Capture One LE). After working on the RAW files I don't like the changes and just wish to start all over, but it seems that the files have been degraded after saving the changes over and over. I understand that the actual RAW files have not been changed, and that what I'm really seeing is tagged instructions etc.

I want to get my original RAW files back to the original unchanged, unedited, "just as they were shot" view. It was my understanding that C1 doesn't actually change my RAW fies. How can I revert back to that RAW image?

  Peter,
  
  pulldown Workflow > Selected Capture Settings > Reset
  
  Be sure the Thumbnails you want to reset are selected.
  
  Selected Capture Settings…>
  Restore = Steps image settings back to previous settings in Work file
  Save = Applied changes to image are saved to Work file
  Reset = Clears All the image settings to default values
