psd files
I'm converting over from Aperture and trying to find how to associate the edited psd files back into capture one like Aperture does to manage media and variants created, so that all the files from a project are related. Once a file is exported to a psd and edited, is there a way to associate that with the original raw file in Capture One so that they can be exported with the batch, or are the psd's completed dis-associated with the original file where they would have to be exported in Photoshop separately?

There are two issues that play here.
First, the kind of association you are familiar with is not available in CO8. It is a feature which is requested a lot, and Phase One is listening to customers ...
Second, you can not import PSD files in Capture One. TIFF, JPEG are fine, PSD not.0 -
Thanks Paul. Really appreciate the help. 0 -
Testing Capture One Pro 8 import of Aperture 3.6 library
Is it still true that .psd files in an Aperture library will not be imported into the Capture One Pro 8 catalogue? If yes, I am wondering how people have addressed this issue.
I also see some but not all my .tiff files. Suggestions?0 -

Regarding PSD files, the status is unchanged: no import. Alternative: TIFF file.
Regarding TIFF files, a few issues can play a role like alpha channel in the file, grayscale file, or very large or very small.0
