change the defaults for ICC-Profile
Hi all,
i'm a new user of Capture One V4 and i'm using a Pentax K100D.
Capture One works fine with my PEF-files.
But for archiving smaller files i convert all of the Pentax-RAW via Adobe DNG Converter to the (smaller) DNG format.
Everytime i open a DNG-RAW for Editing, Capture One sets the ICC-Profile to Adobe DNG file neutral. I can change this to my camera model, but i have to do this with every picture.
Is there any possibility to set the ICC-profile as my default profile?
Thanks in advance

No, but you can change the profile for all images in a folder in one stroke like you do for all adjustments you like to copy to other images.
Apart from that, I do not understand the logic behind your DNG conversion for smaller pictures. I assume you can do that from the PEF files as well with CO4?0 -

Hi Paul,
thanks for your posting.
The idea is saving harddisk space. The default PEF of a K100D (not K10D !!) is about 10-11 MByte, a converted DNG depends on the content, but usually between 5 and 6 MByte. Not really a lot if you look at single files, but with thousands of images it is easier for archiving.
Of course, i could export the files after development out of Capture One, but i don't want to develop all of my pictures at once and all the other previous pictures were already in DNG format.
And a lot of people using a K10D/K20D prefer the DNG option of these models, even if they could shoot PEF-Files.
It is not reallly a problem to set the correct ICC-profile during development, but i thought it could be set as a default option.0
