New To C1 and P1. Have a Licensing Question
Quick Question regarding licensing for C1, if anyone can help...
I just started shooting with a Phase One P45+ back at the studio I rent and the studio uses C1 on it's computer to process/shoot tethered images from the P1 back. The images from C1 are delicious!!! Viewing them in LR is a huge disappointment, which leads to my dilemma.
I want to use C1 at home (I'm a current LR user), but my situation is unique. Because I still use a PPC G5-powered Mac Pro (it's attached to my 23" monitor, and is my primary workstation), it only runs C1 4.1 (or thereabouts). But I also own a MacBook Pro laptop that can run C1 Pro 5, since it's Intel-powered and works for on-location shoots and travel.
My question is, if I buy a license for C1 Pro 5, can that serial work for C1 v4+ on my G5-powered desktop (where I do most of my editing, until I can afford to upgrade)?
Any help would be appreciated...

Yes.
If you purchase a Capture One 5 PRO key you can install Capture One 5 PRO on your Laptop and 4.1.2 on your G5.
The hang up here would be compatibility between the two versions. You could browse and edit in each but not bridge the adjustments between them.0 -
Excellent, Drew! That's what I wanted to hear on the licensing side. The edits? Well, I'll have to be creative to get around that...
Thank you very much for the prompt response!!0
