Please describe your output parameters, in particular your output profile. Or change output profile to sRGB or AdobeRGB if you did not use that already and try again. Also clear your process queue and batch history. Did it work properly in the past and what has changed?

If you like I can run a few of your images through a similar Vista 64/CO4.8Pro setup.

Originally for me profile Spyder2express has been specified.

I have followed to your council and have changed profile options.

I did the same customisations of the profile and for <Adobe RGB (1998)>, and for <Phase One - PC monitor>, and for <Selected Output Profile (Default)>.
The error occurred at any variant.
After each error I restarted Capture One.[/color:58j2zfii]

    I use calibrator Spyder2express.
Earlier I had other camera and I used other program of converting RAW of files.
The old program does not support files of my new camera, here I and have decided to try C1 4.8, but alas while it turns out nothing.
    Here PEF a file.

I got your K200D PEF file and processed it to TIFF (8-bit, LZW) without problems on my Vista 64 / CO4.8 Pro setup with either AdobeRGB or sRGB profile. Do not use Spyder2express or any other monitor profile for output. These are not meant to be used for that purpose because these are device profiles, not workspace profiles like AdobeRGB and sRGB. Set your Proof Profile to Selected Output Profile. But that did not cause the trouble.

My suggestion (before pulling my hair out): go to Color Management panel (colorcpl.exe) and check for the Device Profile on the advanced tab. If you see the Spyder2express profile here change it to System default (sRGB) and test again.

More on a recent Vista 64 / Spyder2express discussion including Color Management panel can be found here:

    The error remained.
Has tinkered with customisations, but it turns out nothing.

I will try to reinstall Capture One.

    On result I will inform.

Thanks for the help and advices.[/color:2oes5vw5]

Vista color management is complex. From what I see is that your Spyder2express profile is not applied at all. This assumption is based on the fact that on the Advanced tab the Device Profile is still pointing to the system default sRGB profile.

I would suggest to try CO4.8 while you set the Device Profile to your Spyder2express profile and see what's happening. In addition to that I have still not figured out the meaning of the profile association on the Devices tab. It is however not meant to enforce the use of a profile for a device. You could remove all the profiles here (it does not makes sense why a ProPhoto or AdobeRGB profile would be associated with a monitor anyway). Your color management settings on this tab seems messed up pretty bad (no offense of course).

Certainly I check also such options....

The computer I reboot each time as that that I will change in C1 or Vista.
Reinstallation C1 4.8 has not eliminated an error.
Now I will try version 4.6.1.

I clear register Vista by word PhaseOne before each new installation C1.
    P.S.
Tabpage Devices shows what profile will boot at Startup program ColorVisionStartup.
I should use Spyder2express as at me the monitor with the expanded colour coverage.

    [color=#FFBF00:glgt0ky9]
    P.S.S.
    Installed version 4.6.1.
Has checked up all variants of adjustment of parametres on it, result former. The error jumps out.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Has now established version 4.8.1
And all began to work correctly.
The problem has appeared in that that it is not necessary to specify compression LZW at converting in file TIFF.

The same trouble on version 4.8.2. Camera Canon EOS 350D.
OS - WinXP SP3. Manipulation with color profiles not solve the problem.

I don't know what "same trouble" here means. I suggest you start a new thread and provide more details about your problem.
