Managing images in folders-possible to copy images?

We've put images into folders based on location of shot. Now we want to gather the best images together but also keep a copy of each image in its location folder. What's the best way to do this? We're using C1LE 3.5.1 on WindowsXP.

  I think the answer here is The Old Fashioned Way...
  
  If you want to have RAW image files in 2 locations, then you'll have to copy them from your Location folders into a separate Best Of Session folder. If you made significant image adjustments, then you'll want to Archive the .C1w / Thumbnails files along with these RAWs as well.
  
  Some use the Tagging feature or the Move To feature, but in these methods the RAW only resides in 1 location.
  
  If one of your goals is a Back-up of the Best, remember - it is NOT a true back-up if the files all reside on the same drive location. 🤓
