When importing, you can tell it where to put your pictures by changing the destination in the "Import To" tab. I don't think it's a bug.

I can, but I want to change the default folder, and not set a folder each time.

I also have already imported 56GB and added that folder/catalog or whatever it's called in Capture One.
But it's empty (even if there is 56GB of RAW files in that folder). If I import again, the stupid software just wants to put it in the C drive again unless I point it to another folder.

How do I add the already imported catalog and make it default?

I have tried right clicking it and select syncronize and thist stupid software has disabled all buttons but cancel. Not very intuitive. I'm lost even before I have started using it.

The stupid software has a easter egg that fixes thing...

If you doubleclick a file called "Capture One.cocatalogdb" inside the "Capture One Catalog" folder, it will say "Hey stupid! I cant have 2 sets of databases but if you hold dow ALT when starting the software, I will let you select the folder you prefere and you can make it default 👿 👿 👿 👿 "

Well, thats not really the message, but close. Hold ALT when starting Phase One to change the default Catalog.
    Problem solved.

Now the import images thing shows correct "Space Left" without having to select another location 😊
Not to see if its smart enough to import only the ones not imorted the firs time.

Am I missing something, or is there no option to not import duplicates?

It's importing all photos and making duplicates. I have tried starting again, and I cant find it. Should I hold a button when starting import to not import duplicates?!?

I have started the loooong import again, 5144 RAW files, and it tells me 1 hour 40 minutes til done. I can now se I have Quadrouples of some images (since this is the fourth time) and tripples and doubles. At least they are easy to separate by import date/time.

No such option to prevent import from createinig duplicates. I suggest you create a support case "Feature request". The nore users do so the better the chance it gets implemented, one would assume.
