dlux4 warning triangle instead of raw image

my dlux4 leica raw images display a triangle/exclamation mark when downloaded, no image, although exposure data is there, what's happening ? ☹️

    Did it work before? How did you download? Version CO and OS X? Other raw files?

    hi Paul, many thanks for replying, my os x is 10.58, CO is 4.1.3 ( CO came packaged with my leica ) i've tried various methods of downloading inc. creating a new folder dragging image to said folder and then trying to import ( this was suggested by technical dept at leica ) but no success. I purchased camera back in February and i've never managed to import raw into capture one, so i've been shooting jpegs and using ' i photo ' instead.
    p.s. i have'nt used any s/ware like this before, so i'm a begginer ! and starting to tear my hair out ! kind regards Alan.

    First tip is to update to the latest release of CO4, which is 4.8.3. It is free and can be downloaded from Phase One's software archive:
    http://xchange.phaseone.com/Content/Dow ... veMac.aspx
    Other tips are: close CO4 and replace session file (Pictures/Capture One Library/ Capture One.col*). You also might want to remove the preference file (username/Library/Preferences/com.phaseone.captureone.plist).

    Hi Paul, your ideas have worked !, many thanks, ( i suspect the problem may have been running an old version of Capture One against the latest version of OS ) i can now process my first raw image ! many thanks again Alan 😊 .
