License Transfer to Phase One
I just found out about the acquisition of Expression Media 2 by Phase One. I don't know if MS sent out email notices to people or not since the email I purchased the product from is no longer valid.
So I decided to update my email to be sure my current email is connected with my license. However, I cannot locate anyplace on this site or the MS Expression Media site to do so. The download of the product was handled by Digital River, and although I can log on with my old email and view my order history, there is no place to update one's profile.
So my question is, once transfer is completed here after Aug. 25, how will I connect it to my current email? I attempted to contact Phase One support, but that support form is obviously not set up for just Expression Media 2 users as they require a lot of information on cameras and backs, which do not apply.
Thank you.

The support form requires as much information as you can provide, or as little as you would like to. The reason all the hardware options are there is because it saves time when we look into your case, nothing is worse than waiting on a solution to an issue only to have a supporter request more information (like OS, Hardware, Software Version....).
In regard to your question, we are still in the process of taking over all the ownership details from MS for EM2. Once we have all that information, hopefully by months end, you'll be able to edit your account information so the Expression Media Key is associated with a new email address or something of the like. In the meantime you can still contact Microsoft to facilitate this for you as they have access to all that information.0 -

Not entirely true. I just submitted a feature request for another issue and discovered I was not allowed to specify only the software "Expression Media." The support form required that I select either a camera body or a camera back. (Both fields had asterisks, usually used to denote a required field.) Yet on the issue description page, I didn't have to specify a serial or registration number, despite the fact that both fields have an asterisk. From a Web design/usability perspective, the asterisk is used inconsistently throughout the support form process. Sometimes it's enforced, sometimes not. Sometimes one required field is good enough, but that fact isn't made clear. And there isn't even a footnote that one usually sees on a Web site to explain the asterisk (for example, * = required field).0 -
* = Preferred or Required field.
If you cannot supply information for one of those fields simply choose the first option in the list and specify in the case that it is not applicable. With the new acquisition of EM2 there are sure to be some adaption kinks to iron out. I'll check to see what can be done but in the meantime do your best to provide what you can.0
