IPTC Core Meta Data support

I have an ongoing issue with C1 Pro not translating the embedded Core Meta Data through to the processed file. I am speaking of the "File Info" meta data such as copyright ownership and keywords that we add to our raw image files so that information travels with the file and can be read by most image editing and cataloging software. Many professional photographers like us are adopting a work flow that includes adding such file info meta data at the outset of the process so that it only has to be done once. When we use C1 to process our raw files that information is stripped during processing and all that work has to be redone before distribution to our clients and stock agencies. This is quite frustrating and causes us to be reticent about using C1 for much of our processing.

I spoke to a representative at Photo East who said that C1 will be fully IPTC Core compliant in 2007. My question, is this true and if so when can we expect to see that change?
