    This is how I think it works. The dropper takes a fixed amount of screen pixels. By enlarging the preview before you take the sample, you can use a smaller portion of your image.

    Ok, it is theory.

    In practice, goes as follows. Created in Photoshop image with sharp transitions between colors RGB (R, G, B, white and black) and view in C1. Drop with sampler on edge 100% zoom. The sample size thus obtained 1x1 px. Effect of zoom thus obtained.
