color problem
i shoot raw images in adobe rgb with my nikon d70. i use capture one pro to edit the files and then i want to batch them out for use on screen and web. i choose \"convert to web destination\" which is set to srgb. when it's done i take a look at the pictures in \"windows picture and fax viewer\", and then the colors has changed a bit. why?
look at the link below! first you see my color managemant settings. the profile \"niklas\" is my monitor profile that has been created with adobe gamma. after that you see a sample picture of how it can look in capture one and below how it looks like in windows picture and fax viewer after i've batched it out. for example the yellow tone that i see in capture one is almost completely gone. what am i doing wrong in the process?

badtant,
Keep in mind a color profile is not applied to a RAW image file. It gets applied upon processing the file. All appears correct in your Capture One settings. Are you sure that the same monitor profile is being used by the Viewer ? Verify the profile used by right+clik on Desktop > Properties > Display > Advanced > Color Management tab
What is the comparison of color in Photoshop proof mode ?
Sincerely,

yes, i use the same monitor profile. you can also see this in my capture one settings in the image i provided in my previous post.
i don't understand what i should do in photoshop proof mode. maybe you could explain?
thanks!
